Important: Read this before you install a Fitch Fuel Catalyst:
The installation of the Fitch should be done on a clean and tuned system. In order to obtain the most accurate readings, the system must be brought up to its highest operating temperature. A stack temperature reading is then taken as a baseline for comparison after installation of the Fitch.
An unclean or untuned system can produce higher than normal stack readings- throwing off the test that could result in less than optimal savings from the installation.
